Give the Gift of hope And Connection
Food, Water, Warmth, Rest. According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, everyone needs these before they can excel in school, at work, or in life. The number of people in need of help meeting these basic needs has increased dramatically due to the pandemic and economic downturn.
Over the last 8 months, AYC has scaled up our services to provide basic assistance by distributing food, water, personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene supplies, as well as rental and utility payment assistance, and help accessing broadband - so critical now for connection to school, work, and social services. We went from distributing 1,800 meals per month to more than 68,940 meals per month.
We need to raise $30,000 by midnight on December 31, 2020 to continue providing these services. AYC prides ourselves in recognizing barriers that exist in the community we serve and amplifying everyday efforts to brave tough times.
